John Siomos, (1947–2004) was an American rock drummer who performed with Todd Rundgren, Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels, Rick Derringer, Carly Simon, Mark Moogy Klingman, Buzzy Linhart, Frampton's Camel and played on Peter Frampton's "Frampton Comes Alive",[1] once the biggest selling album of all time, currently the fourth best-selling live album in the U.S. at 6 times platinum.[2][3] He co-wrote and performed on the songs "Doobie Wah", and the hit single "Do You Feel Like We Do" from that album.[4] He also played drums on "Hello, it's Me", and other songs on Todd Rundgren's best-selling platinum album, "Something/Anything?".[5] Born in Chicago, Illinois, he died in Brooklyn, New York on January 16, 2004.[6] He is survived by an ex-wife, Barbara, and a son, Judah.[7]
